Riversong has matured into a big girl, with tons of body and lots of width throughout. She is not a flashy type, but she is the kind of doe that is solid and functionally correct. Unfortunately River gave birth early to a single dead kid this year and is not milking up to her normal standards and so is packing a few extra pounds. But given that, she's got a strong will to milk and is keeping pace with most of her herdmates. She's just built to milk.
River has proven her worth not only due to her work ethic but also because of her ability to produce show quality offspring. There's a handful of does we would never part with and she's one of them. In fact, every doe in the herd has a major role to play, otherwise they wouldn't be here.
Pictured right at 4 years. Below rear udder and kid pictures.
